Our Superseed Dressing Recipe

Our Superseed Dressing Recipe

You asked for it.

I pondered sharing this since it’s our new dressing we launched at the Farmers Market this summer, but we have nothing to hide! We happily share the ingredients and you can add or subtract to make it your own! After all, the secret (and most functional!) ingredient is hemp hearts, which you can always get from us!

This recipe yields 8 g of plant-based protein per serving. Nothing inflammatory, no sugar or dairy, no soy or canola, no gluten or allergens. This is about as healthy of a dressing that you can make that actually TASTES GREAT. I not only use it in salads – I drizzle it on a rice and veggie bowl, fish or tacos too!

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup Queen of Hearts Hemp Seed Oil
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seed or grapeseed oil
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/8 cup apple cider vinegar (we love Bragg’s Organic ACV)
  • 1 tablespoon Queen of Hearts Hemp Hearts
  • 1 tablespoon hemp protein (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh dill
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh pressed garlic
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Put everything in a blender or vitamix on high for a minute or two. You want to ensure a creamy, emulsified consistency. To change up the flavors, use the first 6 ingredients as a base and add other herbs like basil, or a cilantro and parsley for a Green Goddess!

Make your own, take a pic of how you used your dressing and tag us at @queenofheartshemp !
