We are so excited to be growing and adding to our little team! We have a few positions open from overseeing and making of the dressings in our production facility to doing graphic design and creating content.

Here are our current OPEN positions. 

Production Lead.

This individual will lead production and fulfillment operation functions from making dressings to organizing ingredients within our food production & warehouse facility. 30 hours / week

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and lead production and fulfillment processes of products while supporting and maintaining cGMPs.
  • Develop, recommend and implement measures to improve production methods and equipment performance to produce a quality product.
  • Implement effective systems to monitor, control and reduce operating expenses.
  • Align production activities with other functional areas in the facility including planning, organization and maintenance to optimize resources.
  • Oversee the development and establishment of standard operating procedures and work instructions.

Skills, Experience and Education:

  • 2 + years of food manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability to use knives, peelers, spoons, measuring cups, scoops, and scales
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and also effectively with others
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be comfortable standing for extended periods and carry up to 50 lb.
  • Must be willing to accept responsibility and to show good judgment, initiative, and resourcefulness

Production Assistants.

We are on a mission to improve the health of our communities and our planet through whole functional foods. What that means is that in this role, you're at the heart of what makes Queen of Hearts!

We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented production workers to help us produce our artisan superfood dressings, and bottle, package and ship our other superfood ingredients and products. 15-20 hours / week

  • You'll be doing everything from chopping garlic and grinding ginger to bottling dressing, organizing product and cleaning mixing bowls.
  • You get a first-hand experience working many aspects of a start-up food business. 
  • Must be comfortable standing for up to 4 hours
  • Must be able to carry up to 50 lb
  • Candidate must be able to take direction well and execute with efficiency. 

This is a great role for someone looking for a fast-paced job that doesn't require much, if any, socializing. We know you're out there. ;-) 

Sales & Marketing Coordinator.

This individual is energetic, a jack-of-all-trades who will undertake a wide mix of tasks and projects that crosses marketing, sales and even some operations. There's no boredom here!

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Help coordinate and fulfill orders & check-in with wholesale accounts
  • Create fun and engaging content (photos, videos, some graphics) for social media and website based on marketing objectives.
  • Host the Queen of Hearts booth at some farmers markets which entails setup, sampling, sales, and breakdown. 
  • Update website and other online brand presence as needed.
  • Help execute marketing objectives - Send out cards, samples, and other outreach.

Skills, Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Personable and engaging in interactions
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work independently, as well as effectively with others
  • Can move and carry up to 30 lb
  • Must be willing to accept responsibility and to show good judgment, initiative, and resourcefulness
